Do you worry that the thoughts 'mean something about you' or that you will act on them? *

     
 
Do you worry about things in your past or your childhood that caused this to happen? *

For example, if you experimented in college, or played 'doctors and nurses' as a child
     
 
Do your thoughts make you feel distressed? *

     
 
Do you experience unwanted sexual sensations for example, in your groin, and think this means you must be gay? *

     
 
Do you worry that you are not attracted to your current partner, that you do not really love them? *

     
 
Do you do things to 'test' if you are gay? *

     
 
Do you watch porn to test if you are gay or test that you are still straight? *

     
 
Do you look at people of the same sex to 'test yourself' to see if you find them attractive or feeling anything? *

     
 
Do you look at people of the opposite sex to 'test yourself' to see if you find them attractive or feeling anything? *

     
 
Do you analyse your sexual identity in your head? *

     
 
Do you seek reassurance that you are not gay? *

     
 
Are you concerned with how you behave in case you look gay? *

For example, your behaviours, how you walk, how you talk, whether you are too feminine, too masculine
     
 
Do you avoid people, places or things, that you think might trigger HOCD? *

     
 
Do you avoid some things as you believe something bad might happen?

     
 
How much distress do these thoughts and behaviours cause you? *

0 = no distress
5= severe distress
